Pumpkin & Honey Bunny – Giving Antique Advertising Art New Life
Brooklyn-based graphic designer Erica Rothchild’s “Ericar70″ shop features marvelous old images of everyday inanimate objects from antique advertisements each carefully digitally restored. Her style and sense of image placement is always spot on for a very classy effect. And she has just launched a new monogram specialty store called “Pumpkin and Honey Bunny” featuring some truly unique antique monograms.
Food has been a major focus of Erica’s work since she first began selling them at the Greenpoint Food Market. Culinary interestst run in Erica’s family – together with her husband Anton Nocito, she runs an artisanal Syrup and Soda shop in Brooklyn which has been featured in the New York Times.
